What is local about
localBILLBOARD?
While
localBILLBOARD
operates through the world wide web it has been created and designed to work in
selected geographical areas based on post codes.
So what?
Many, if not most people, prefer to shop locally and use local services where possible.
Doing so ensures that the local economy thrives to the benefit of the community
in general – their community.
How does localBILLBOARD
achieve this?
By providing a cost effective, easily accessed “shop window” for local companies,
businesses and tradesmen who have expressed a wish to do business in the area. Potential
customers can very easily search for and then access the details of a specific provider.
Literally “Local services at a click”!
Sounds too good to be true, where’s the catch?
There
is no catch. It costs nothing to access and less than £1 a week to promote your
business.
What is localBILLBOARD’s
history?
Short. Its creators David McTaggart and Stuart Scholes frustrated with
the globalisation of the market place and the lack of a truly local information
source set out in 2005 to create the answer. It needed to be locally focused, easy
and cost effective to operate. By pooling their extensive business experience, especially
David’s computing knowledge and Stuart’s in sales and marketing, they have produced
their answer – localBILLBOARD.
